I believe students thrive when they feel safe enough to take risks and confident enough to embrace challenges. In my classroom, I nurture a growth mindset by celebrating effort, reframing mistakes as learning opportunities, and reminding students daily that they can do hard things. Through trust, encouragement, and high expectations, I create an environment where every learner feels supported to grow both academically and personally.

Student-Centered

Students need to enjoy learning in order to learn successfully. Creating a classroom where the focus of instruction is shifted from the teacher to the student is how I build intrinsic motivation in my learners.

Growth Mindset Based

I am a strong believer in the idea that there is never something we cannot learn. Fostering a growth mindset can be as easy as speaking a three-letter word - yet.
